Tagkawayan August 28, 2015 | Pinangunahan ni Kgg. Punong Bayan Jose Jonas A. Frondoso ang Opening Ceremony ng #TKPalarongBayan2015 na ginanap sa Tagkawayan Sports Complex na  nasa Brgy.Munting Parang,Tagkawayan,Quezon. Sa nasabing lugar din nakatayo ang Tagkawayan National High School. Dumalo din sa nasabing Seremonya ng 2-araw na tagisan ng mga estydyante  sa larangan ng sports ang iba pang miyembro ng Sangguniang Bayan kasama sina Kon. Bong Tadique (Chair,Committee on Education), Kon. George Lopamia, Kon. Fernando Violante, Kon.Fher Valencia at Kon. Imee Mendoza na siyang kumatawan sa kanyang kapatid na si Engr. Roberto  De Vero na nagpahatid tulong pinansyal na nagkakahalaga ng Php.12,000.00 para sa Host School ngayong taon, ang Munting Parang Elementary School.Masaya namang binksan ni Dr. Luciano Ever Calumno, District Supervisor ang sports events.

Sa mga sandaling ito simula na ang bakbakan ng mga atleta mula sa Metro Zone, Railroad Zone, Highway Zone, Mountain Zone at ATOM (Alexandria CCF, Tagkawayan Hgh SChool, OLLA, Montessori ) sa iba't-ibang venue sa Metro Tagkawayan kasama na ang TNHS, Freedom Plaza, Municpal Covered Court  at Tagkawayan Central Elementary School.

TV reporter Alison Parker and photographer Adam Ward were shot and killed by gunman during live broadcast this morning in Moneta, Virgina.

WDBJ camerman Adam Ward was filming reporter Alison Parker interviewing Smith Mountain Lake Chamber Director Vicki Gardner for a segment at 6:45am when about eight shots rang out.Screams are then heard as the women duck and the camera falls to the floor. A person dressed in all black is then seen standing nearby with what appears to be a gun raised in one hand pointed at Ward.The general manager at the CBS station later came on the air to confirm Parker and Smith's deaths.'It's my very very sad duty to report... that Alison and Adam died this morning,' WDBJ's general manager came on the air to say after the incident.Police previously reported that there were three injured, so there may be one survivor.About 30 to 40 police officers are in the area, trying to track down the shooter.
