Tagkawayan,Quezon- Namatay ang isa sa mga Dolphin na nakitang stranded sa mga Baybayin ng Brgy.Aldavoc at Rizal dito sa Tagkawayan noong Sabado. Ayon sa naunang Panayam ng Radio Tagkawayan sa Municipal Fish Inspector Marvin Noveno sinasabing maaaring mag-ina ang dalawang Dolphin kung saan nakitaan ang mga ito ng sugat maging ang inahin.
Ayon kay G. Noveno pinakondisyon ng mga Otoridad bago ito inihatid sa mas malalim na bahagi ng dagat at pakawalan. Kasunod nito, nakita naman ang nasabing Risso's Dolphin (Grampus griseus) malapit sa isang Beach Resort sa Del Gallego, Cam Sur nitong August 1, 2015 , tinagka anila itong sagipin subalit binawian din ng buhay.

Ayon naman sa Social Media Post ni Ms. Nonus Enolvus ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 5 maaari daw na ilang araw nang hindi nakakain ang nasabing Dolphin at maaaring nakaranas din ng Dehydration. Nakitaan din daw ito ng pamamaga malapit sa may tenga indikasyon na nagkaroon ito ng impeksyon.

MORPHOMETRY AND NECROPSY RESULT: 2.6m, 250-300kg. adult female Risso's Dolphin (Grampus griseus) beached in Del Gallego, Cam Sur on Aug1, 2015. Inflamed lymph nodes near ear area, an indication of having an infection. Ear bones still intact and presumed on normal condition, previous hypothesis of acoustic trauma from blast fishing can not be ascertained. Digestive system totally empty without ulceration or parasites. The animal might not have eaten for the past days and might have suffered from hunger and dehydration. No indication of drowning while stranded. Mammary glands still producing milk, an indication that the dolphin is lactating. Was hypotized that the calf that stranded in Brgy. Aldavoc, Tagkawayan, Quezon is its offspring. The calf however was not seen since its successful release by LGU Tagkawayan team. Necropsy process covered by ABS-CBN Bicol in BFAR 5 while on-site response was covered by GMA News in Sta. Rita Island Resort in Del Gallego. Necropsy conducted by Doc Evelyn Saberon, BFAR 5's resident veterinarian. Bones will be exhumed few months later for display in Sta. Rita Island Resort.

Ayon naman sa ulat ng ABS-CBN ililibing ang ito sa Cetacean Cemetery sa BFAR Compund. Ito na ang ika 6 na Dolphin na ililibing ng BFAR 5 sa Bayan ng Bato.
